Serve with rice.Juice can be used like gravy when you pour over rice.
1 fryer, cut up or 8 to 10 pieces of chicken
2/3 cup water
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons margarine
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup onions, sliced
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup bell pepper, sliced
1 cup catsup
1/2 cup canned mushrooms
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Flour chicken, Fry in skillet until lightly brown.
Place chicken in 2 quart Casserole dish.
In a saucepan, melt butter, add onions & pepper, cook until tender.
Add mushrooms and remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil.I am not a mushroom fan.So you can them add or not.
Pour over chicken. Cover and bake for 45 minutes
